Oregon Otter

Limited Edition

Characteristics

Produces a rich golden wort with sweet and bready aromas of biscuit, graham cracker, honey, and toffee

Applications & Description

Oregon Otter is crafted from Lontra barley developed by Oregon State University and grown by Hunton's Farm in Junction City, OR. With lineage from UK Maris Otter, we malted this grain to create a classic UK-style Pale Ale malt with deep color and flavor. With notes of graham cracker, honey, sweet biscuit, and a pinch of toffee, this malt is expressive and rich with character. It's perfectly suited for single-infusion mashing, and make a great choice for any malt-forward style that will benefit from its depth of character, rich texture, and inherently sweet flavors.
