Ever wanted to brew your own beer but didn’t know where to start? This SF Beer Week, Admiral Maltings and Dahoam1516 are teaming up to bring you MALT & BREW, an interactive, beginner-friendly brewing experience where you’ll get your hands dirty (well, malt-dusty) and craft a classic Czech Pilsner from grain to glass.

Expect:

🍺 Hands-on brewing – Work in small teams to brew your own beer with expert guidance from Dahoam1516 homebrewers.
🌾 Exclusive malt house tour – Get a behind-the-scenes look at Admiral’s traditional floor malting process.
👨‍🏫 Expert instruction – Learn brewing fundamentals from seasoned homebrewers.
🥨 Great food & beer – Enjoy a meal from The Rake’s kitchen and explore our lineup of Admiral-malted beers (pay as you go).
🍻 Private “Pour Night” – Return to The Rake when your beer is finished and taste the final product with your fellow brewers.

This is a fully immersive, grain-to-glass experience that you won’t find anywhere else. Pre-paid tickets are required, and space is limited.

👟 What to know before you go:

• Wear comfortable, non-slip shoes and clothes you can brew in.
• Brewing teams will follow a curated recipe for a traditional Czech Pilsner.
• The beer will be finished at Dahoam1516’s private-label brewhouse before being tapped at The Rake for your exclusive tasting event.
