It’s our one year anniversary of hosting swaps at THE RAKE!

Please join us for a day full of free clothing, creative alterations, food and drink specials and of course, an opportunity to ask me about where the clothes go!

Clothing swaps are a great way to get rid of your lightly loved items that no longer fit in your wardrobe and find totally new to you fashions while keeping textiles in the community and out of landfills! You are welcome to bring an unlimited amount of adult sized clothing, shoes, and accessories, but please make sure they are free of tears stains or excessive wear. We have no limit as to how much you can take you can take without bringing you can bring without taking this event is welcome to everyone in the community. We just ask that you support our wonderful hosts at the rake by checking out their amazing food and drink menu, as well as some of the other fantastic events they have on their calendar!

Bring:

– lightly used adult clothes, shoes, and accessories

– a sense of adventure – the whole family (for fun; not to swap, there’s a tv show for that)

– your pup! Yes, this is a DOG FRIENDLY event! You can even bring dog clothes to swap!

-your appetite!

Do NOT bring:

-children’s clothes shoes or accessories

– dirty clothes – clothes with rips or stains

How it works:

-bring what you want to get rid of (no limit!)

-take home anything you want! (No limit)

– we’ll have an alteration/customization station to personalize some of your “new” clothes!

-eat drink and be merry!

All leftover clothing will be washed, sorted, and donated to organizations and people who keep it FREE within our community!
