Join us for a special evening with Sam and Ali Blatteis, twin sisters and founders of Home Base Spirits—a female-owned, Oakland-born distillery crafting whiskey with locally sourced grains, including malt from Admiral Maltings.
We’ll be pouring two Single Malt Whiskies and one Bourbon straight, on the rocks, or in cocktails, showcasing the vibrant connection between California agriculture and craft distilling. One of the Single Malt whiskey’s will is a small batch, single barrel, 100% Admiral malt edition, bottled exclusively for The Rake at Admiral Maltings and the favorite local spot for beer, wine, and spirits Craft Beer & Wine store on Santa Clara Ave. The Rake will sell bottles to go of this limited edition Single Malt Whiskey at the event.

Admiral co-founder Ron Silberstein will also be in attendance, offering an insider tour of the malthouse at 5:30 pm
