Join us at The Rake at Admiral Maltings on Wednesday, August 27th, from 4–8 PM for a Meet the Brewer event with the crew from Standard Deviant Brewing—one of San Francisco’s most beloved and personality-packed breweries.

Known for their award winning beers and a lineup that ranges from Kolsch and IPA to creative one-offs like their barrel-aged rosé saison, Standard Deviant has made a name for themselves by brewing approachable, finely crafted beers with a healthy dose of humor. They’ve built a community around great beer, fun events, and collaborations that celebrate the city they call home.

For this event, we’ll be pouring several Standard Deviant beers brewed with Admiral’s California-grown floor malt—each one showcasing the balance, drinkability, and craftsmanship that defines their style. Come meet the team, hear their stories, and taste why their beers keep fans coming back for more.
