Meet the celebrated brewer behind Laughing Monk Brewery, Jen Jordan. Jen and her stellar team Kim Pollock and Spencer Riewarts are joining the Admiral Maltings team at The Rake to celebrate their 10th Anniversary.  During the past decade, Laughing Monk has brewed its way to multiple awards from the brewing industry’s most prestigious competitions. 

Enjoy three Laughing Monk beers all brewed with Admiral Maltings’ CA grown, floor malts! At 5:30 co-founder Ron Silberstein leads a fascinating journey tour of the malt house.  Chef Alex will offer fish & chips and fish taco specials for this event. 

At our malt house pub, The Rake, enjoy over twenty beers on tap, dozens of whiskies, bourbons, and gin. All of the beers and whiskies are crafted with fresh, aromatic Admiral malt. The Rake offers excellent pub fare, plus your favorite beers & bottles of whiskey to go.

Beers being served:

Jen Dreams of Rauchbier: California Common Style, Golden Lager featuring Admiral Feldblume, Pacific Victor, Hearth, with the slightest bit of Beechwood Smoked malt. Notes of freshly baked bread, with a bit of classic hop spice. 6.1% ABV

Santa Cruzer: Crispy Ale featuring Admiral Pils. A crushable ale, fermented at cooler temps, with a snap of Saaz hops at the finish. Kind of like a Kolsch, but even more lager-like. 5.6% ABV

Superdelic Krushalistic: Hazy IPA featuring Admiral Pils, Hourani Wheat, & Chit. A Beer to Celebrate Laughing Monk’s 10th Anniversary! The hops bring notes of tropical fruit themed candy and mixed berries. 6.8% ABV
